Who We ARE

Our Mission Statement

The mission of The Freedom School is to glorify God through the partnership with families in the training and nurturing of students in their spiritual, academic, physical, emotional and social development. This is achieved through a Christ-centered education based on Biblical truth which leads to the formation of the character of God within. It is our desire for each student to come to know God more intimately and therefore, they will take steps to make God known to the world around them.

Our Statement of Faith

We believe that the Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired, and is God’s revelation of Himself to man. We believe there is one, and only one living and true God. We believe in Trinity- that God it the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe that man is the special creation of God, made in His image. We believe that Salvation is the redemption of the whole man, and any man that accepts Jesus Christ, the only begotten son of God, as their Lord and Savior. We believe that we can live lives full of grace and holiness with the help of the Holy Spirit, and we seek to be the Praise of His Glory!

Core Values:

Wisdom Through Learning - We will interact with the world in light of God’s word with intellect, humility and worship. We value exploration and inquiry in our learning to develop lifelong learners, create opportunity for students to build character, develop life and social skills and connect learning to practical applications in life.

Spiritual Cultivation- Be conformed to the image of Christ. Understand and apply the word of God in all areas of life. Leverage moments of conflict, dissapointment or discipline to shepherd the heart of the students. To provide opportunities for worship, and praying together and foster a heart of service to others.

Christ-Centered Community - Cultivate a culture of grace and truth. Delight in and celebrate diversity as an expression of the image of God. Value people in the way God has made them. Promote learning in community across grade levels and disciplines. Maintain campus wide unity while serving and caring for each other. Partner with families in the education process by coming alongside them and fostering family connections. Protecting the physical, emotional and spiritual well being of others.

Education Philosophy

A students identity (spiritually, emotionally and socially) is at the core of who they are and is highly related to their academic growth and maturity. At Freedom School, our desire is to foster an environment of excellence, where the heart of God towards his children is well-known, discussed often and is woven into every aspect of the education.
